See patients by video call, on your own schedule, from one app.
Who can join
Doctors and dentists registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) who hold a current annual practising licence. General practitioners and specialists are welcome.
What you can do on Medukul
- Set the times you're available and your rate per minute.
- Accept consultation requests: scheduled appointments and Book Now requests.
- See patients by video call. Once you accept, you see the health summary the patient chose to share.
- Write prescriptions and order lab tests in the app, and review the results patients share with you.
- Track your earnings and withdraw them to your bank account.
How verification works
You sign up as a doctor in the app and complete six short steps. Your progress is saved, so you can stop and come back on any phone.
Step 1
Personal information
Your name, gender and nationality, as they appear on your medical licence.
Step 2
Professional information
Your specialty and your medical degree: university or college, and the years you started and graduated.
Step 3
Professional registration
From your practising licence: the regulatory council (Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria), your registration number, the year of registration and the date your licence is valid until.

Contact details
Your email address and where you are based.
Step 5
Credentials
Upload the documents below.

Review and submit
Check your details and send them to the Medukul review team.
Documents we ask for
- A clear, recent photo of your face. Patients see it.
- Your medical degree certificate (MBBS, BDS or equivalent).
- Your current annual practising licence.
- Up to three additional credentials, if you have them (optional).
JPG, PNG or PDF. Only the Medukul review team sees your documents.
After you submit
- Our review team checks your details and documents. The app tells you how long this usually takes.
- If something needs correcting, we tell you what to fix and you can resubmit.
- Once you're verified, patients can find and book you.
- We remind you 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before your licence expires. Upload your renewed licence in the app; if it expires, patients can't book you until we approve the renewal.
Requests and earnings
- New requests appear in the app. A patient's booking waits for you to accept it.
- Patients pay per minute from their Medukul wallet, at your rate. You earn from completed consultations, after the Medukul fee.
- Your earnings and withdrawals are listed in the app. Withdraw to the payout bank account you add.
- For your safety, withdrawals pause for a short time after you change your payout account.

Doctors and patients use the same Medukul app. Each phone number is either a patient or a doctor account.
